Associate Professor Sajee Sattayut

Assoc. Prof. Sattayut graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (First Class Honors) at the Khon Kaen University in 1993, she received specialist training on Laser use in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the London Hospital Medical College between 1995- 1998. She was awarded the Doctor of Philosophy in oral and maxillofacial surgery by London University in 1998 and has been appointed the Associate Professorship in Oral Surgery, Faculty of Dentistry, Khon Kaen University since 2003. She was also elected to be the Member of the University Council, Khon Kaen University since 2008.

Assoc. Prof. Sattayut specialises in research and clinical practice on soft tissue laser surgery technique for oral tissue correction in the maxillofacial regions and on Lower Intensity Laser Therapy for orofacial pain control. In addition to her busy academic practice, she was invited as the Secretary of the Centre of Lasers in Dentistry as well as the President of the Thailand Society for Laser Dentistry and the Secretary for the WFLD-Asia Pacific Division (2010 to 2012).
