Professor Kenji Yoshida

DDSc, PhD

Prof. Yoshida graduated with DDS from the Achi-Gakuin University, School of Dentistry, Nagoya, Japan in 1981 and awarded PhD. by the Aichi-Gakuin University in 1998. Since 2001, he has received the full Professorship of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department, from the University of Aichi-Gakuin.

Since 1992 he has been actively involving in teaching and research in the field of Laser Dentistry, as well as playing important administrative role in major Laser-related organisations. These includes, the Council member for Japanese Society for Laser Dentistry (1992-present) and the Japanese Society of Laser Surgery and Medicine (1998-present); the Editor in chief of editorial board for JSLD (2005-2008). Recently he was elected as the President of JSLD (2009), the President-Elect of 31stw Annual Scientific Meeting of Japanese Society of Laser Surgery and Medicine (2010) and the General Secretary of the World Federation for Laser Dentistry (2010-2012).
