Dr Matteo Basso

DDS, PhD, MSc

Matteo Basso obtained his degree with honours in Dentistry and Prosthetic Rehabilitation from the Università degli Studi in Milan, Italy. PhD in Implant Dentistry and Specialty in Oral Surgery. Since 2002 is coordinator of clinical activities and responsible for quality assessment at the University Dental Clinic of the Galeazzi Orthopaedic Institute in Milan. In the same department, from 2006 is head of the Section of Conservative Dentistry, and in 2008 he became head of the Centre of Minimal Invasive & Aesthetic Oral Rehabilitation. Visiting Professor for Dental Ergonomics and Market Economy c/o the Dental School Degree Course of the University of Milan.

He is board member of the Research Center for Oral Health of the University of Milan, Italy (www.crso.unimi.it). He concentrates his activity on prosthetic rehabilitation, cariology and conservative dentistry, with particular attention to modern concepts of minimal invasive dentistry.
