Professor Laurence Walsh

Laurence Walsh is Professor of Dental Science at the University of Queensland and has been the Head of School since 2004. He maintains a part-time specialist private practice in Brisbane in special needs dentistry. Laurence has been involved in the development and clinical evaluation of several novel diagnostic systems over the past decade, and he holds several patents in this field. Laurence leads a research group who work in the area of advanced technologies, and he has published extensively in the dental literature.
