An upgrade from the Wand Plus Anaesthetic Delivery System

We all know the Wand plus technology utilizes computer controlled local anesthesia delivery to enhance the injection process for both the dentist and the patient, so what does the STA System have to offer?

Well ...

  • STA Mode - Uses DPS (Dynamic Pressure sensing) for palatal/intraligamentary injections. (can be turned on/off)
  • Normal Mode is the same as the Wand Plus
  • Turbo Mode allows the user to inject the cartridge faster than can be injected with a syringe.
    This mode should only be used for 2nd cartridge, should not be used for palatal or PDL injection.

It also has a Tutorial mode where it can actually talk to the user!

What’s more, the STA can be used to do multi carpule injections. The dentist can finish one cartridge and replace with a new cartridge without removing the handpiece out of position in the patient’s mouth.
